The Home Medical Equipment Providers Association of BC (HMEPA) offers opportunities for you to contribute by joining one of our sub-committees. Please note that only current HMEPA members are eligible to sign up.
Sub-committees typically meet once a month—on average for 30 to 60 minutes—to work on various projects throughout the year. They are renewed annually when a new board is elected in March.

GOVERNMENT RELATIONS
Chair: Evan Kellett
This subcommittee aims to build and maintain relationships with government officials and funding agencies in order to advocate for increased funding and support for clients requiring medical equipment. The subcommittee may also work to influence legislation and regulations that impact HMEPA's work.
EDUCATION, RESOURCES, AND TRAINING
Chair: Kelli Vriend
This subcommittee brings value to our members by promoting manufacturer webinar/training opportunities, and developing strategic partnerships.
MEMBERSHIP & COMMUNICATIONS
Chair: Jocelyn Fast
This subcommittee defines and pursues desired members (dealers, manufacturers, support services, and non-profits), develops new communication campaigns, and maintains our member database.
